Magic at Mickey D’s!

Ok guys, I’m on my lunch break sitting here at mcdonalds and I just finished enjoying my angus deluxe. Good stuff. It’s the closest Mcdonalds has come to making their sandwiches taste like real food! That wasn’t the magic at Mickey ds I was talking about though.

I was waiting for my food and had my deck out just practicing some flourishes when a nice man came up and asked me about… Me. It helps that I am wearing a suit. Makes me look that much more magical. He compares me to a magician named goldsmith or goldenfoot or something like that. Maybe he meant blackstone… Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Either way it was flattering and I really had fun. No point, just thought I’d share.

On another note. I have video shot, now all I gotta do is edit it and post it! Easier said than done. Maybe I can get a video up by midweek. That’s my hope.

Ok. I’m done for now. Going back to Magic Network to work on some new tricks for my Dvd. I got some neat stuff in store for you guys.

Cheers,

Alan

Today, I create magic!

Ok guys. The videos, like the British, are coming. I may have some new readers joining us soon, one with a birthday this Sunday. If you’re already reading this, hope you like my site and find it useful, email me about any questions you may have. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.

In other news, I’m working on some new effects of which I hope to have the first completed and ready for an audience spit shine and polish for this weekend. We’ll see.

Stay tuned, videos are coming.

Cheers,

Alan

Ps. I’m going to do my best Mike Rowe impression and ask you guys to submit videos and questions and ideas of what you’d like to see here on eyellusionist. So. Let’s hear it!

…ok then

Alright, so as some of you may have noticed, the videos didn’t go up this weekend, and I know you fan boys (said lovingly and endearingly) may be wondering, what the f?  What the F Alan Paoletti?

Well I promise there will not be an Ace of Diamonds in your…ahem when you get home, but seriously…what happened?

Well…I’ve been working!   You mean this isn’t the only thing I do?  No sadly not, would I like to…yeah I think it’d be fun to write and film videos all the time and give you guys the signature quality of video advice, reviews and tutorials that I know you love.  (Shameless self promotion)

But thing is, with a pro magician, my schedule isn’t as set as most “normal” people.

I am trying my best to get these videos up for you A.S.A.P.

To whet your whistle a little bit, I’ll let you know what videos are coming up next in the lineup.

I’ve got a review on the Alchemist Deck by Stephen Rooks, a look at Ace Playing cards by Carta Mundi, a review of the Bulldog Squeezers, (I know I just love doing all of the obscure decks that no one can get ahold of.)

And a tutorial for the D’Amico double lift.  This is one I have been meaning to do for years, back on my old youtube channel I had a guy ask me to show that move in more detail, so…after years of anticipation, I’m finally going to do it!

Keep your eyes peeled children, you never know when these are going to go up, I sure don’t.

Cheers,
Alan

Update

Hey everyone,

How’s it going?  I’ve got some new stuff coming up, I’m trying to get it up by this weekend, finding time to film and edit is getting more and more difficult these days.

I thought I would give everyone a heads up on some of the new things coming out.

I’ve got two new deck reviews, one for Ace playing cards by Carta Mundi and another on the Bicycle Alchemist deck by Stephen Rooks!

I also am planning for some new moves to teach you guys!

Also, my good magician friend Joe and I are going to finish up some filming and editing on our DVD project!

It’s going to be great, we’re taking a really different approach to the way magic DVD’s are traditionally taught.  You should get a lot of out of it.  Release date isn’t set yet, but we’re working as hard as we can to get it to you guys.  I swear I’m not hyping, I’m just really excited. :p

You also may have noticed that you need to register to comment now.  I was getting too much spam and had to make it that way, I hope that if you read my blog or find any of my information valuable that you will register and subscribe to my Youtube and Twitter and let me know what you think.

Also, my forums are feeling kind of lonely, so feel free to give it some company.

Cheers,

Alan
